These past few months are an exhausting, emotionally draining time for several folks. Whether we're working longer hours, worried because we're not working, uncertain about the longer term, staying indoors with fractious children or a partner, concerned about elderly relatives, no-one's had it easy.

The amount of tolerance and forbearance required, the mental agility to deal with new, unfamiliar ways, compounded with the challenge of emotionally supporting people devastated at things they find themselves in during this unprecedented pandemic has taken its toll on everyone involved.

Coping within the midst of tragedy whilst trying to stay positive, upbeat, and perhaps professional has been a huge ask of everyone. There are times once you got to take an opportunity. Not a vacation, or an evening out with pals, but an easy outing, recharging break.

Sometimes, after a busy, stressful day it's tempting to flop into an armchair with a drink and therefore the remote. This could be fine occasionally, but done long-term it's counter-productive and may end in you feeling lethargic and flat.

When you got to take an opportunity here are some positive suggestions;

- Take your lunch somewhere 'nice', maybe during a nearby adornment, instead of quickly eating it on the run, at your desk, or within the car. Is there an area park, nature trail, garden, or beach where you'll enjoy a thirty-minute break? Make something tasty and nutritious and savor every bite. And know that everybody around you benefits from your having had a while to step back.

- choose a walk, run, or bike ride and permit yourself personal space every day. Some people wish to combine that with taking note of music, podcasts, or making calls, but why not use this valuable opportunity to clear your thoughts and have interaction fully in your activity. Notice the colors, sounds, and changes each day; specialize in the here and now.

- Stay hydrated. Feeling tired and irritable could also be because you're drinking an excessive amount of coffee or insufficient water and become dehydrated. Drink more water and clear the toxins from your body; your fluid levels will soon readjust.

- Dedicate a while to music, maybe revisiting those old favorites you haven't heard during a while. Or play some quiet, relaxing music to assist you to unwind.

- Book a zoom call with friends and have a celebration night, dancing, being energetic, reconnecting, and having fun.

- Get out the crafts, your painting, or handiwork and luxuriate in being absorbed for a short time. Or spend a touch time in your garden, tending your plants, maybe growing herbs or vegetables.

- Do something you're good at, that you've got maybe forgotten about; DIY, an instrument, something that provides pleasure for its own sake. Feel proud at revisiting a positive achievement.

- Enjoy family downtime together. If your children are mostly reception, not every moment has got to be spent in formal education. Get outside and choose walks, a nature trail, bird-watching, kick a ball about. Or if indoors, play board games, crafts, invent games.

- Take an opportunity together with your partner. Lockdown may have unearthed some irritations in your relationship thanks to spending longer together, each nursing individual worries and concerns. Do things separately but even have regular fun together; walking, talking, cooking, playing. Invest in some positive time.

- Ask your partner for a massage. No talking, just an exquisite thanks to easing your muscles and abandoning of tensions in your body. Maybe alternate turns, but really enjoy the advantages of getting your body soothed and massaged.

- Ensure your bedroom may be a cozy haven, an area where you retreat and relax. Clean sheets are always a bonus. And if you are going through an especially busy, tough time it's good to plan to get to bed a touch earlier to wind down.

- Immerse yourself within the sensory indulgence of a shower. Candles, bubbles, your favorite music, and a thirty-minute soak might be an excellent thanks to relaxing and feel thoroughly cleansed and chilled after an extended stressful day. Warm the towels and choose the complete spa experience.
